7 Schlafzimmer Haus in Waurn Ponds
A large modern house with floor to ceiling north facing windows overlooking the swimming pool. You will have the entire 5 acre property (except the shed and study) at your disposal.
The entire house has ducted heating and cooling, whilst the master bedroom has an additional split system.
A large kitchen will make cooking for groups a breeze. The 900mm oven will comfortably accomodate the largest of roasts, whilst the second 600mm oven in the walk-in-pantry allows for additional dishes & desserts. The dining table seats 14 with an additional 8 seater table outside. I am constantly redecorating. Adding wallpaper and colour to the walls and moving furniture around. Things may not be in the exact same position as these photos, but thats fun and exciting. I think it’s looking great.
* Outdoor sunken fire pit to enjoy the sunset. Firewood is included.
* Outdoor entertaining area with BBQ, sink and 8 seater table.
* A smart louvred pergola roof to make the most of indoor, outdoor living. The roof opens & closes with rain sensors, & comes with a remote for manual operating.
PET FRIENDLY
* The garden is fully fenced and dog friendly. In addition to this there is a seperate dog run at the back of the house with a dog door leading directly into the laundry.
*Dogs to be restricted to the laundry and enclosed run when you leave the property, not left with free run of the house.
CHILD FRIENDLY
* We have a full sized Boori cot and change table set up in one bedroom.
* A child friendly toilet seat in a powder room.
* A large rumpus room/6th bedroom next to the kitchen that opens onto the back patio.
* A large selection of kids toys (lego, magnatiles, puzzles, games, soft toys and dress ups).
* A cubby, a huge trampoline and kids sport equipment will keep everyone entertained.
* Kids floaties, pool toys and hooded towels are ready to go conveniently in the outside cupboards.
LINEN
Towels, sheets, bath mats are provided. Guests staying over a week will receive a linen change. Please let us know your sleeping arrangements and requirements so we can have everything ready for you.
ADDITIONAL BEDS
The bed configuration can be changed around in some rooms and the rumpus room can be turned into an additional bedroom. The two couches double as single beds with trundles underneath. The size of the rumpus allows plenty of room to play with all 4 beds set up.
TENNIS COURTS
6 tennis courts are located at the bottom of the property, approximately 200m from the house. You can access these by using a stile over the wire fence, or walking around to the front should you prefer.
EDIBLE GARDEN
The property has an established vegetable garden and a youthful orchard. Guests are welcome to pick from the garden and orchard. Please only pick what you will eat. The host will arrange a convenient time to tend to the garden watering when required with as little disturbance to guests as possible. Guests are welcome to water if they would prefer.
The property has two compost bins that we encourage guests to use. An easy guide will be available.
CHICKENS
Living in the orchard are 10 free range hens, 1 rooster and 11 young pullets which hatched on the property. The chickens have an automatic door that secures them at night. The daily task of collecting the eggs is fun for guests.
The hosts will arrange a convenient time to check on the chickens and refill water and food. Guests are welcome to perform this task.
THE ORCHARD
Depending on the time of year you can wander the orchard with the chickens and pick apples fresh from the trees. Another 12 varieties of fruit trees have been planted and in coming years will produce an abundance of produce. In the meantime their flowers are gorgeous.
POOL
The pool has solar heating. Depending on the time of year, the hosts will turn the heating on for the duration of your stay. Hosts will arrange a convenient time to clean the pool for guests staying over a week.
