The moment you open the front door and step into the foyer, your eye will be drawn to the expansive views of the 8th green on Kiawah Island's Osprey Point golf course and our 12x30 swimming pool. Our spacious home is located beyond the 2nd security gate in the exclusive Vanderhorst Plantation off of Bufflehead Drive. We just completed a first floor renovation including a brand new kitchen and two brand new bathrooms. Our home features high-end finishes that include NEW furnishings, draperies, artwork, kitchen appliances and the saline swimming pool. Our pool has a heat/cool pump and automatic in-floor cleaning system and will be cleaned twice a week for your enjoyment. Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout, fully renovated stone/granite bathrooms makes this home feel like new.
Airy and bright, the open floor plan connects the great room, dining room, and kitchen; as well as to the back deck and the screened porch. The great room features high ceilings, a large fireplace flanked by custom built-in bookcases and a wall of windows with French doors. The doors open out to an expansive deck that overlooks the golf course.
The ebony quartz swimming pool is 12' x 30' (depth up to 6 ft.). For ultimate sunning and relaxing in the water, the pool features submerged bench seating across the entire 30' length of the pool. The pool deck is furnished with 4 Frontgate lounge chairs with fluffy cushions, along with an iron table, chairs, and oversized umbrella. We are located within walking distance to the beach. 15 minute walk, 10 minute bike ride or 5 minute car ride to the parking lot at the beach.
The light-filled gourmet kitchen features custom cabinetry and high-end appliances, quartz counter tops, convection/roaster oven, wine refrigerator, separate ice maker and gas cooktop. The kitchen is well stocked with everything from wine glasses, herb scissors, waffle maker, garlic press, Margarita machine, Keurig, drip coffee pot and the list goes on! The dining room is surrounded by picture windows and seats eight comfortably. Five bar stools offer additional seating in the kitchen.
The generously sized screened porch is located on the side of the home and enjoys gentle Island breezes all year long. Enjoy your morning coffee on our brand new Frontgate sectional sofa, ottoman, 2 lounge chairs, and bistro table and chairs. The porch is a great place to dine alfresco or hang out. The screened porch leads to the grilling area and pool/sunning deck. The grill is plumbed to a 100-gallon gas tank. No need to worry about running out of gas when you are ready to put the steaks on the grill.
The first-floor master bedroom features Bernhardt furnishings, king bed, high ceilings and sliding glass doors that open to the back deck. In addition to a large walk-in closet, the suite offers an oversized dressing room, double sink vanity, a large bathtub, and an oversized shower with three shower heads. There is a second bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and en suite bathroom with dual vanity and shower.
Located upstairs we have an oversized media/billiards room that features a pool table, poker/game table and Golden Tee Arcade. There is also an oversized TV to watch the big games! Adjacent is an upstairs mini-bar with built-in beverage refrigerator.
Three additional bedrooms upstairs feature loft tray ceilings, recessed lighting, and granite-appointed bathrooms.
All bedroom windows in the house feature blinds and draperies or blackout draperies for afternoon napping or late mornings.
All bedrooms feature flatscreen televisions. There are seven total TVs in the house connected to Xfinity cable.
