Located on a quiet side street near the Village of Buchtel, The Elm is a newly built home, fully stocked and ready for your next visit. A wall of windows overlooks the Nelsonville-York City Schools campus and the entire area is surrounded by Wayne National Forest. The home is centrally located and just a short drive to Burr Oak State Park, Lake Hope State Park, Bailey Trail System and Hocking Hills State Park. This house featured a covered front porch, fire pit (wood not provided), covered back deck and attached 2-car garage.
Enjoy a relaxing getaway to a beautifully constructed, brand new home in a quiet neighborhood in Athens County. The Elm is located 5 miles from Nelsonville and is the perfect location for family and friends to gather and enjoy all the area has to offer. This beautiful home sits at the end of a dead end road in a quiet, family neighborhood overlooking the Nelsonville-York City Schools campus.
The Elm is tastefully decorated and fully furnished with everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay including freshly laundered linens and towels, well stocked kitchen essentials with a Keurig coffee maker, fun assortment of games and more. With 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, The Elm can sleep up to 7 comfortably. The layout is open and bright with a full wall of windows in the kitchen/dining area. The living room offers a sectional with an oversized ottoman. Sit back and enjoy your favorite shows from the 65 inch SMART TV. Multiple dining options available with seating for up to 10 at the dining room table, 4 at the kitchen island and additional seating for 6 on the back deck. The open kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and flatware for all your cooking needs. If you don’t mind cooking, there are plenty of restaurants to fit every price point within a 10-25 minute drive.
Off the living room is the master suite which offers a king bed, 50 inch SMART TV, access to the back deck and master bathroom. The master bathroom has a double vanity, separate toilet room, closet she walk-in tile shower.
Also off the living room is bedroom 2 with a queen bed, 32 inch SMART TV and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. This bathroom offers a washroom with a double vanity and separate room for toilet and bathtub with tile surround.
Off the living room is a small hallway. Here you will find bedroom 2 with a twin over full bunkbed, 32 inch SMART TV and access to the Jack and Jill bathroom. Across the hall is the half bath that includes the washer and dryer; at the end of the hall is the door leading to the 2-car garage.
All main doors to the home have smart locks and a custom code will be provided prior to your arrival. There is a Nest doorbell camera on the main entry door to the house. Guests may park in the garage, in front of the garage or in the parking area across from the garage entrance. Please be mindful of the speed limit on the ally as there are kids playing in the are.

- 19 miles (30 minute drive) to Hocking Hills State Park
House rules include:
1). You are responsible for picking up during your stay and for leaving the house in good condition prior to check-out.
2). You are responsible for loading and starting the dishwasher prior to check-out. (Dishwasher pods are located under the kitchen sink).
3). You are responsible for removing all trash from the house and placing it in the trash cans in the garage prior to check-out. (This includes kitchens and bathrooms).
4). You are responsible for placing all dirty towels and washcloths in the washing machine and starting prior to check-out. (Laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach are located above the washer).
5). Check out is promptly at 11:00 am. Late checkout can be requested for an additional fee.
6). Do not worry about stripping the beds, we will take care of this for you.
7). Please ensure that you have all personal belongings prior to check-out as we will not be responsible for items left behind.
No smoking permitted in the house. You may smoke outdoors but ask that you please dispose of your cigarette butts appropriately.
