Welcome to Alexandria Adventures! A vacationer's dream, on Lake Irene just 10 miles outside of Alexandria. We’re excited to host you in our 4 bedroom home situated perfectly to enjoy a wonderful view from a large raised patio while offering a walkout basement with easy access to Lake Irene. A large flat lot offers space for sunbathing, yard games, or just enjoying the view. The public boat access is 1.2 miles from our property.
The Space:
Upon entering our home, you’ll be greeted by an open concept vaulted ceiling living room, kitchen, and dining room with unobstructed views of Lake Irene. There is a large sectional, a stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen including a Keurig, plates, flatware, glassware, and utensils to accommodate up to 12 guests. The entire home is comfortable with tasteful upgrades and premium furnishings.
To the left of the living room is the first full bathroom. To your right is the Master bedroom with a lake view, king bed, closet, a TV, to the left is bedroom number 2 with a queen bed, natural light, a closet, and a TV.
Walking through the living room you’ll step outside to an expansive raised patio including outdoor patio furniture, a propane grill, the best views of the lake along with well established trees. There are 12 stairs that step down the yard; there is a safety gate at the top of the stairs.
Downstairs is another spacious living space with a plush sectional and a large TV. Bedroom number 3 offers a bunk bed consisting of 2 full size mattresses, a lake view, and a TV. Bedroom number 4 offers a queen bed, lake view, and TV. There is a round dining table that has hosted many card games and family board game nights, you’ll find some of our favorite games in a bin in the closet under the stairs. In the left corner of the basement, you will find the utility room with a new washer and dryer complete with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Next to the utility room is the second full bathroom. Walking through the living room you’ll find a swinging patio door that offers a level walkout to our level yard. Pets are allowed with a pet fee.
The Yard:
Upon arriving you’ll drive up to a 3 stall garage which you will have complete access to. Around the right of the home, you can walk down the lakeside yard. Once there, you will find a large flat area with well established green grass, depending on the current weather. Just beyond that are 10 gradual steps down to a landscaped firepit with 6 Adirondack chairs. Follow the path to our 120 foot dock that offers great dock fishing for bass and crappies. We do have a weed roller that has established a solid and clear swimming area for you to enjoy with a shoreline that is rip rapped with rock. The home is located only 30 minutes from the Andes Tower Hills skiing resort!
The home comes fully stocked with all the essentials and supplies needed to accommodate 10-12 guests including plates, glassware, silverware, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, and hand soap.
