LIVING / DINING
Cook up delicious feasts in the fully equipped cook’s kitchen with electric cooktop and oven, Italian and Greek coffee makers and all the supplies you need to get started. Inside, your dining table seats up to 8 people or eat outside under a setting sun on the back patio with pergola. Big comfy sofas provide plenty of space for lolling about and taking siesta during the heat of the day. Kitchen includes a dishwasher.
Careful of the environment, the very well insulated house is naturally cool in summer thanks to ceiling fans and cross breezes rather than energy consuming A/C and we provide filtered drinking water via 12 litre refillable drinking dispensers to reduce plastic consumption on the island.
THINGS TO DO
Walk to the beach only 2 mins from your door or take a quick trip to Rochari Beach only 5mins drive away. No need to ever leave with a multitude of dining options on your doorstep but if you do need more, ancient Pyrgos is only 10mins drive and home to tavernas, cafes, restaurants and renowned pizzeria Dough & Shaker, a supermarket, banks, the world famous Marble Art Museum and one of the prettiest village squares on the island.
Only 15mins to beautiful beaches at Isternia and Kardiani, spend your mornings on the beach and afternoons in the taverna – you're spoilt for choice!
Small scale wine making is having a resurgence with wine makers coming to the island to tend the historic ungrafted vines. During your stay be sure to sample local wines, visit small scale wineries, artisan cheese makers and the award winning micro-brewery Nissos to fully enjoy Tinian hospitality and artisanal products. Like many traditional Greek villages walking up and down stairs is unavoidable but a fantastic way of keeping your figure while enjoying all that delicious Greek food!
