The Space:
As you arrive at the property, you are greeted by a quintessential white-picket fence, instantly giving you that home-away-from-home feeling. The front garden has been beautifully landscaped, with the same thought and detail presented here, displayed throughout the entire home.
As you walk in through the entrance, you are sure to be delighted with a nautical-inspired design presented through the colour pallet, decor, and furniture. The home holds a unique configuration, which allows you to seamlessly move from one area to another, with the hallway providing you with access to most spaces.
The bathroom features a spacious, dual-head, walk-in shower with a modern bathtub tucked behind, ready for you to soak in after a long day of travelling. No need to worry about packing your own towels, these are thoughtfully included in your stay.
The home features three queen-bed, bedrooms that hold their own, unique touches. Each bedroom has bedside lighting, and hanging space for your clothes, with one bedroom having a large built-in wardrobe for extra storage. Blankets, fans, and free-standing heaters are found in each room, to accommodate the ever-changing Tasmanian weather. The sunroom is directly accessible to two of these bedrooms, where the natural sunlight beams through to each of these. Additionally, the middle bedroom contains a porta cot for the littlest member of your family.
Appropriately named, the sunken sunroom is filled with plenty of rays that stream through the large windows and doors. Please note to access this area, there are steps that lead down to the space. Here you will find the TV where you can enjoy your favourite shows, popular board games to play with the family, or a nice book to wind down to, with reading material provided in the home. For nights when the sun has disappeared, the home contains reverse-cycle heating and blinds, to ensure you are kept cosy and warm at all times.
The combined lounge/dining area is a delight, and the perfect space for you to enjoy stories of your travels over dinner, or maybe a glass of wine, with loved ones. The main dining table accommodates six people, with two, comfy two-seater lounge chairs sharing the space.
The kitchen is fully appointed, ready for you to cook up a feast! There is a high chair, and a breakfast table situated in the room's centre, here you can enjoy your morning coffee using the Nespresso pod machine. The laundry section in this space has a washing machine with a dryer stacked on top. There is additionally a clothesline found in the backyard if you prefer to dry your clothes this way.
The deck area boasts gorgeous views, with guests being able to overlook parts of Launceston and the popular Seaport Precinct, all whilst enjoying a delicious meal from the BBQ.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house and are able to access this at all times using the keys found in the lockbox. There is an unoccupied unit below the house that is not accessible at any time.
The Neighborhood:
One of the original Launceston suburbs, set in the hills to the west of the Tamar River, Trevallyn enjoys stunning views of the city and beyond.
The Trevallyn shop precinct is right at your doorstep! This area includes the delicious Neighbourhood café, the Trevallyn Grocer, a Post Office and Pharmacy, the Shopfront Trevallyn homewares boutique and Mesa hairdressers. If you are after a more comprehensive supermarket, the nearby Riverside Plaza for a Woolworths supermarket, bakery, florist and more.
The Trevallyn recreational area is only a short drive away. With several picnic and BBQ areas as well as archery, an array of walking tracks and an extensive network of mountain bike trails, catering to all skill levels. The Trevallyn Dam is located within the grounds, which is the source of the local hydro water supply, and an incredible sight when in flood.
The Cataract Gorge is located next to Trevallyn. A spectacular natural formation where you can enjoy long and short walks, fresh water swimming basins, the world's longest single-span chairlift and vibrant peacocks! An additional, unique way to experience this attraction is via the Tamar Cruise vessel, which cruises through the waters that carve between the rocky formations.
Trevallyn is four minutes from Launceston City which has a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the City Park which is known for its beautiful oak tree gardens, playground for the children, a plant-filled conservatory and cheeky snow monkeys.

Please note that there are several interior steps located throughout the home.
Please note for longer stays, an additional fortnightly mid stay cleaning charge will apply to your stay.
A $50 fee will be charged if guests fail to check out by agreed check out time.
Please keep your showers to a maximum of 25 minutes at a time to avoid running out of hot water throughout your stay.
We ask you to please ensure that the BBQ is cleaned following use, we may charge an additional cost if this is not left in a clean state.
