If you are looking for a quiet romantic retreat in the most beautiful rural location then look no further. Crossways is carefully furnished with an eclectic mix of artwork and quirky accents making the house both comfortable and curious. Arriving at the property there is off road parking for one car opposite the house. Entering through the lovely cottage kitchen there is everything you could need to comfortably self cater for your stay including an Aga and a separate electric two ring hob, Bialetti stove top coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. There is a charming marble top table into the window seat with seating for 4 guests.
Stepping through to the sitting room there is plenty of comfortable seating with a log burner as the central feature. There is no TV at this property, though there is Wifi for guests to use. To the far end of this room is the dining room with a library of books to look through. Through the external door in the sitting room there is access to a courtyard and a brick built outbuilding perfect for storing bikes.
Upstairs there is a king bedroom to the front and a double room to the rear both with luxuriously comfortable beds and bedding. The bathroom is on the first floor with a roll top bath and monsoon shower over the bath.
There are patio areas to two sides of the property with outside seating.
Across the bridleway the real secret of this property is revealed...through the gate you will find the most stunning garden with raised patio area and seating at the top end, the garden slopes down to the stream running though the woods and in between the lawns and flower beds. Bridges and pathways undulate around the garden and over the water with secret seating areas and hidden hammocks. In the evening there is lighting strung through the boarders making you feel like you are nestled in a hidden part of the world.

The Royal Oak is within a 15 minute walk offering wonderful food and a cosy atmosphere, the spectacular Sunday lunch would be a real treat after an afternoon walk. Midhirst is within a few minutes drive offering a mix of fabulous independent shops and eateries and wonderful walks around Cowdray Park and the castle ruins. Polo is a real draw to the area and in the season the town is packed with players and spectators. Goodwood Motor Circuit is just a sort drive to the south home to the world renowned Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
