Bake House is a semi-detached, 17th century cottage in the curtilage of Clifton Maybank House. The cottage combines traditional features with bright, modern styling. This charming property centres around a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove, 55” smart TV, large sofas and cosy reading nooks either side of a chimney.
A stylish, dual aspect kitchen/diner is well-equipped and comfortably seats 10 people. The first-floor has under-floor heating and comprises three bedrooms: one super-king with its own en-suite bathroom, and two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Both bathrooms are well appointed, including over-bath, high-pressure rain showers.
A lawned front garden with flower borders has a picnic bench and barbecue for alfresco dining. Guests have the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with walks across the fields to the nearby river, bookable access to a tennis court and are within easy reach of Sherborne, Yeovil and surrounding villages.
