Our 75 acre Nature Retreat is built for large groups of 12-30.
We have multiple units; A 3 bedroom converted Barn House, 1 bedroom Cottage, 1 bed converted Bus (year round!), 4 seasonal Glamping Tents, 4 bedroom Farmhouse AND a brand new 2.5 bedroom Log Cabin (coming soon)! Please inquire for more details.
Amenities include: Heated salt water pool, 2 year round hot tubs, nature trails, pond, row boat, archery, tether ball, bocce, corn hole, waterfall & much more.
This is a unique property unlike any other as we've designed it to host large groups seeking a private retreat in nature. Play, hike, cook, party, swim, sleep, adventure.... Whatever your heart desires, the options are endless.
There are 3 options for rentals here at Grateful Woods. We can accommodate groups of different sizes between our multiple dwelling units! Please inquire for more specific details.
The first option includes beds for 12 between the Barn House, the Cottage and the Bus.
The second option includes the above, plus beds for 10 more with the additional 4 Glamping Tents. (Please note that these are seasonal from roughly May-October, weather permitting.)
The third option includes the above, plus the addition of our brand new 4 bed/2.5 bath Farmhouse. This unit can also be rented separately between October and May.
And lastly, coming soon is the addition of our newly renovated Log Cabin aka the Lodge! This unit will come complete with indoor and outdoor seating for the whole crew, brand new chef's kitchen, multiple lounge areas and beds for 8 with 2 full bathrooms.

Unit 1: "The Barn House" A 3 bedroom house with 2 floors. An outdoor staircase entrance takes you to the Apartment, or the top floor, which includes the Master (king) bedroom with gas fireplace, living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom and expansive deck with outdoor seating overlooking the creek. On the bottom floor, 2 bedrooms (king and bunk room) with private entrances, an indoor living room fit with day beds for lounging or extra sleeping, bathroom and outdoor kitchen equipped with grill, dining area, hammock, swings, gazebo and fire pit. Please note, this unit is only connected by an outdoor staircase.
Unit 2: "The Cottage" A one bedroom tranquil suite adjacent to the Barn House consisting of queen bedroom, bathroom, and additional living space.
Units 3-6: "The Tents!" Four generously sized, luxurious, canvas Glamping Tents (2 single bell, 1 double bell and 1 safari) are perfectly situated in the woods, just across the creek in the backyard of the Barn House and next to the creek. These are not your every day tents - they are made of a sturdy, breathable canvas with 6ft entry way, 10ft ceilings, and are equipped for weather, rain or shine. With nothing but the sounds of the woods and the waterfall in your own little tent village, you'll be several happy campers! Each are designed with their own unique style and include extra comforts such as water bottles, extra blankets or fans, flashlights, etc.
Unit 7: “The Bus!” A fully wood paneled, gorgeous queen bedroom. Equipped with electricity and heat/ac, the bus is a great alternative to glamping. It does not have a bathroom, but is in close proximity to the other units.
Unit 8: "The Farmhouse" A four bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house situated just across the street with a beautiful view of the farm. We just acquired this house in order to accommodate even larger groups of friends and families. Staying here will give you access to:
75+ acres of woods and farm land to explore, miles of nature trails, farm animals (goats, cows, horses) & plenty of other wildlife, gorgeous sunset views, multiple fire pits, herb gardens, pool, hot tubs, and tons of activities such as archery, bad mitten, bocce ball, tether ball, corn hole, can jam, board games, puzzles, hammocks, row boat, paddle boat, fishing and so much more!
You will be secluded enough to feel a total escape from real life, but you will not be too remote. We are very close to any shopping necessities, restaurants, cute towns and more! We are also located just minutes from Minnewaska State Park, the Shawangunk Mountains, Mohonk Mountain Preserve and the breath taking Ashokan Reservoir. Just ask for our favorite hikes!
We have Sonos speakers located throughout the property, as well as a variety of musical instruments for endless entertainment.
With a variety of grills, fully stocked kitchens and multiple fire pits your options are endless.
