With a private indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi (which has changing and shower facilities), a full size snooker table and pool table, the property is a perfect choice for family gatherings. The well laid out gardens surrounding the property boast a lit carp pond and a lovely patio area taking full advantage of the views. Enjoy a drink and al fresco dining after a busy day exploring and taking in the beautiful scenery. Surrounded by over 500 acres of idyllic Angus countryside, Piperdam Resort, with its award-winning facilities, has an excellent golf course, 40-acre loch, quad biking, archery, fencing and tennis, amongst a wealth of other challenging activities. Alternatively, you can simply relax and indulge in a swim or a game of snooker back at the house.
Away from the resort, there is much to offer, from the vibrant city of Dundee with its wealth of culture, shops and eateries, to miles of walking trails in the Angus Glens. Explore castles and stately homes including Scone Palace and Glamis Castle, the latter childhood home of the Queen Mother, the birthplace of Princess Margaret and the setting for Shakespeare’s Macbeth. There are fantastic beaches at Lunan Bay and Montrose, and serious golfers will love the challenge at Carnoustie and St Andrews courses, both within easy reach. There is quick and easy access to Royal Deeside and the Scottish Highlands beyond. The property is ideally situated for day trips to many of Scotland’s favourite attractions within Angus, Perthshire, Fife and beyond. All four of Scotland’s major cities, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen, are within easy reach, as are the Highland Perthshire towns of Pitlochry, Dunkeld, Aberfeldy and Crieff.
